What should a public-sector technology brief ask a delivery partner to confirm?
Ask for a defined work package, acceptance evidence, required qualifications, information handling, and handover responsibilities. The contracting authority’s requirements govern the opportunity; this checklist is a planning aid.

| Area to confirm | Ask the partner for | Who needs to agree |
|---|---|---|
| Scope and interfaces | Deliverables, dependencies, exclusions, and milestone reviews. | The service owner and delivery lead. |
| Supplier and personnel requirements | Evidence of the qualifications required for the specific opportunity. | The procurement and security contacts. |
| Information and hosting | A data-flow description covering storage, processing, logs, backups, and providers. | The organization’s information and security owners. |
| Acceptance and handover | The check plan, source access, operating instructions, and support boundaries. | The buyer and the team that will operate the service. |
Describe the service and the people it supports.
Describe the task citizens, staff, or partners need to complete and where delays happen. Include service channels, records, decisions, and difficult cases. Use that description to scope the software, data, or automation and judge the proposed release.
Separate deliverables from organizational dependencies.
List the software, integrations, documentation, and support expected from the partner. Separately name the access, policy decisions, and reviews your organization must provide. Give each dependency an owner and date. Confirm the process with your procurement team and the opportunity documents.
Make sensitive requirements explicit.
State confirmed requirements for information handling, identity, hosting, accessibility, and languages. Send unanswered questions to security, privacy, or service owners. Ask the partner for evidence that it meets the specific requirements and eligibility conditions.
Agree how working delivery will be accepted.
Plan reviews around complete service tasks using representative records and the operating team. Name who approves functionality, integrations, release readiness, and handover. Include failed and interrupted cases and the recovery staff will need after launch.
Prepare for operation and future competition.
Agree the source, configuration, documentation, and access your organization receives. Define hosting and support responsibilities and make provider or proprietary dependencies clear for future delivery. Active K Digital can discuss software, data, AI automation, and security work, with eligibility and requirements confirmed for the opportunity.
